There are only a few days left (it's not Christmas tomorrow) until the most anticipated and beloved holiday of the year. Tales by the fireside, carols, gingerbread, Santa Claus, decorated lanes and trees, colour and lots of magic floating in the air.
And as the picture of Christmas cannot be complete without festive lights and Traditional Fairs, We have prepared an article in which we will tell you about the most beautiful Christmas Fairs in our country. They await you, as every year, with lots of culinary treats for all tastes, mulled wine, hot chocolate, beautifully decorated huts, good music, cheerful people, ice skating rinks and lots of good cheer. Christmas Fair in Sibiu
We may be subjective, but the Christmas Fair in Sibiu is our top favourite. From the 11 November to 8 January you will enjoy a setting straight out of a storybook in the Grand Square. You'll be greeted by a traditional ice rink, splendid Christmas decorations, various local gastronomic specialities and a fun park for our dwarves.

- Hotel Casa Luxemburg - is among the oldest buildings in the city centre. Rooms overlook the Bridge of Lies, a favourite tourist attraction. The hotel is a three-star hotel with all the amenities, and a room costs 400 lei per night including breakfast.

Christmas Fair in Cluj Napoca
It will take place during 18 November - 31 December 2022 in Unirii Square. Organisers say it will be a different fair from previous years, much grander, and the main theme will be relaxation. So don't be surprised if you find the old reindeer relaxing in a yoga pose. As well as food for all tastes you'll find the tram and Santa's little house there.

- Hotel Capitolina City Chic Situated in the heart of the city, 700 metres from Unirii Square and the Old Town, this 3-star hotel will provide you with all modern facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The price of a room is 370 lei per night including breakfast and free parking.

Craiova Christmas Fair
from 11 November will take place in five squares (Mihai Viteazul Square, King Ferdinand and Queen Mary Square - Doljana, Frații Buzești Square, William Shakespeare Square - National Theatre and Sfântul Dumitru Square) and will remain open until 8 January 2023. Last year it ranked sixth in Europe for the best Christmas fair. With this year's light show, a 24-metre tree, magic tubs, ice skating rink, there's a good chance it will be in the top 10 most beautiful Christmas Fairs again.

Christmas Trag in Brasov
Also called Winter Magic in Brasov will take place during 30 November 2022 - 8 January 2023.
In the Council Square very close to the Black Church, the fair will give you an idyllic view. Here you will find over 40 stalls selling local products, hot drinks, handicrafts and the famous Szekler Kurtos Kalacs cake.

Its inauguration will be on 1 December and will last until first week of January 2023. Here, 59 specially designed cottages will be waiting for you to enjoy at your leisure. The huts will be located in the area of the Three Hierarchs Church, in the Mitropolia area and in Unirii Square.

Christmas Fair in Bucharest
On the principle that the last will be the first, we present to you the biggest Christmas fair that has more than 1 million visitors every year. It will take place in Constitution Square during 20 November - 26 December.
Here you will have the most beautiful evenings with your loved ones, accompanied by a tree over 30 meters high, magical huts, creative workshops for dwarves, mulled wine and unforgettable shows. Of course there will be Santa and his elves, the Ferris wheel and the well-known ice rink.
